You will be acting as the first point of contact to senior managers for a variety of employee relation issues.
Purpose of the role
This role is centred around the effective management of ER casework in a timely manner. At times it may be complex and it may stretch you so you will need plenty of experience behind you. You will also be involved in advising, guiding and supporting managers with all matters concerning the employee lifecycle. It will be great to have some generalist HR skills in your armoury as you may be called upon to deploy these across the organisation and advise on appropriate proactive actions to benefit the business as a whole.
Who we are after...
As well as having a solid HR/ER background, we are looking for someone with a sound knowledge of employment law, HR procedures & processes including equal opportunities. You will be well organised, flexible in your approach, possess bags of initiative and pro-activeness. Above all, you must have the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels, able to build appropriate, professional and accessible relationships with employees and line managers alike. We would ideally like someone who has relevant HR study to back up their experience but may be flexible for interim.
