Talent Acquisition Partner role…
Job Title: Recruitment Business Partner
Location: Manchester (with some home working)
Rate: £250 per day (or close to)
Contract type: Interim (flexible for 3-5 days per week)
Unique multi-national business…
This business works in a unique market and with on-going research and development and the expertise they have in the UK and overseas they have been going through expansion at a pace. Hiring the right talent now needs some devoted expertise, this could be for 6 -12 months possibly longer.
So why would you want this role? There is a great level of flexibility and we know their Head of HR and we think they would be a great person to work with!
What will be keeping you busy?
You will be the recruitment team. You will be responsible for drastically cutting their agency recruitment spend, helping in developing the employer brand and creating a first-class candidate experience for people that apply to the business. You will build stakeholder relationships in order to support them with market information, with taking a great brief and writing a great job advert.
You will need to build knowledge of the marketplaces to go to in order to advertise and source for some specialist vacancies as well as key head office hires.
You will be expected to get as much value as possible from any external suppliers you may still have to utilise, and you will source as many roles directly as is feasible. We often find that tighter budgets encourage creativity, and this is why we are looking for someone that will be creative in their approach.
The business spend on recruitment over the last year has been high with about only about 30% of direct sourcing so there will be a real opportunity for some quick wins here so you will need to be able to show a real return on investment in your hire.
Who are we looking for?
Ultimately, we want a strategic talent acquisition specialist that is happy to roll their sleeves up. You will be an experienced recruiter with an ability to manage a number of roles at any one time. As well as this you will be someone that knows what best practice looks like when it comes to talent acquisition and you will be able to put processes in place that meet the business’ needs. You will help the business to get the best talent into the business whilst providing great value and a reduction in recruitment spend. You will need to have good grasp of ATS systems and be able to pick up internal systems easily.
Industry experience is not essential, but we would like to see people that have experience of recruiting into technical, research, scientific or pharma type environments. You should have a strong track record in the private sector with businesses of a reasonable size.
We really want someone that is passionate about what they do. You will need to be results focussed and able to work on-site in Manchester one or two days per week to be able to work directly with the stakeholders.
Apply ideally before the 27th May as initial CV’s will be submitted shortly after this date.
